Scrappy Moms Stamps January 2016 Stamp Release & Terrific Tuesday Challenge I "heart" You

Hope everyone is ready for the new Scrappy Moms Stamps Terrific Tuesday Challenge. 

Valentine's day is just around the corner so I'm sure this next Scrappy moms Stamps Terrific Tuesday Challenge will be easy for those of you who are creating cards for it.   

All you need to do is make any project that includes a heart and share it over at 

the Scrappy Moms Stamps blog. 

For my card I used a sentiment from the brand new Scrappy Moms Stamps 

"Out of This World" stamp set.

I added three heart embellishments because I wanted to use it as a valentine card for my hubby since he loves Star Wars.

• Sentiment from the new Scrappy Moms Stamps "Out of This World" stamp set 
• ObiWan from SVG Cuttings Files.  It was from one of their May the 4th be with you blog hops so it's not available on their website for sale. 
•  Background from a picture I found on Google images. 
• Card Base from SVG Cutting Files - Wave Card Base (Chunky)
• Heart bling from my craft stash.

Scrappy Moms Stamps January 2016 Stamp Release - Out of this World Thank You Card

Are you ready for some new Scrappy Moms Stamps?

Well the wait is well worth it because they have released two new spectacular sets that you're sure to fall in love with like I have. 

I'm so happy to present to you 

"Out of This World" and "Truly, Madly, Deeply"

Aren't they fabulous?   I have so many ideas for cards/projects to make with the sentiments.  I wish I didn't have to work so I could craft all day to get all my ideas brought to life.  

Here is one of my ideas that I was able to bring to life.   I'm pretty happy at how it turned out.  

When I saw this sentiment I immediately thought of an astronaut and that it would make a great thank you card.

• Sentiment stamped with Versa Mark and Embossed with Ranger Silver embossing powder.  
• Space shuttle from the Silhouette Store ~ Design #8944
• Astronaut from the Silhouette Store ~ Design #6732
• Used Glossy Accents on the face plate on the astronaut's helmet. 
•  Galaxy Background from the Silhouette Store ~Design #75997
• Card Base from SVG Cutting Files - Oval Card (Chunky)

Scrappy Moms Stamps November 2015 Stamp Release - In the End Zone! - Football Card

ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL!!!!

I love football season and sitting down on occasion to watch football with my hubby. 

  Well of course I had to make a football card using a sentiment from one of the new November Scrappy Moms Stamps "In the End Zone" which is perfect for the people in your life that love sports.

So I don't get a flag for delay in game here is my card.

Here are the two new November sets:

"Loco Lingo!" and "In the End Zone!"

Card Recipe:

• Sentiment from the new Scrappy Moms Stamps "In the End Zone!".
• Card Base is a standard A2 card - 5-1/2" W x 4-1/4" H
• The brown background paper was embossed with my Cuttlebug Tiny Mosaic Embossing folder
• Football field is a print and cut image I bought from the Silhouette store ~ Design #15798
• The football player is from a Football Set from the Silhouette store ~ Design #46930
• Also cut the football from this set after I sized it so the sentiment would fit perfectly on it.  Used Close to my Heart Coca stamp pad to ink the edges.

Scrappy Moms Stamps November 2015 Stamp Release - Local Lingo! - Hello/Hi Card

Hello Crafters,

 I'm back to share another card I made using a sentiment from one of the new November Scrappy Moms stamp sets.  

I'm a little behind in creating my projects because my craft room is a complete disaster so I spent today cleaning it up.  Once I got that done I was able to sit down and created this card.  

I love how all it turned out except the eyelashes.  I'm not completely in love with them as I am the rest of the card. 

Here are the two new sets:

Card Recipe:

• Sentiment from the new Scrappy Moms Stamps "Loco Lingo!" stamp set.
• Card base is 5-1/2" x 5-1/2" 
• KaDoodle Bug Designs Cutie KaTootles-Nut Free Candy set
• Used my eBrush to shade my pumpkins.  #eBrush
• used Versa Magic Gingerbread Chalk Ink to ink the squirrel pieces.
• Cut leaves out and put them in place where the candy was suppose to go.  
•  Background was embossed with the Darice Fall Leaf embossing folder.
• Used Memento Potter's Clay, Close to My Heart Cocoa and Studio G Creamsiscle Orange to highlight the embossed edges.  
• Hay paper from my stash.
• Eye lashes are yarn from my craft stash.

Scrappy Moms Stamps November 2015 Stamp Release - Local Lingo! - Batman Bad Guys Halloween Treats

Happy Friday Crafters

So thankful the new November 

Scrappy Moms stamp sets are here!  

I'm pleased to introduce you to 

"Loco Lingo!" and "In the End Zone!"

Ok, so the Design Team had a few chuckles over one of the sentiments from the "Local Lingo!" stamp set and that sentiment is 

"Have a Whoopensocker of a day!" 

I had no idea what "Whoppensocker" meant and had to be educated by my Design Team Sisters.   For those of you that haven't ever heard of it either, it's origin is Wisconsin and it means Something "extraordinary of its kind."

Well the first part of the word made me think of Whoppers so I thought it would be a perfect sentiment for the candy bags I wanted to make for my work.  

I felt Whoppers for the candy and the word Whoppensocker were reminiscence of the big "POW", "SLAM" etc words that would pop up on the old  Batman TV Show when Batman was fighting the bad guys.

Card Recipe:

• Sentiment from the new Scrappy Moms Stamps "Loco Lingo!" stamp set.
• Poison Ivy, Penguin, and Riddler are from the Silhouette Store  - Design #'s 83204, 77573, 83207
•  The Harley Quinn is from a picture I found on the internet, saved to my computer then imported it into my Silhouette software, traced, then printed and cut them out.

Scrappy Moms Stamps September 2015 Stamp Release - Warts Up

Happy Sunday Evening Crafters

Time to share another card I made with one of the new Scrappy Moms Stamps September Stamp Sets. 

When I saw the sentiment "Don't make me unleash the flying monkeys" from the "Warts Up"  set I thought of my sister-in-law because this use to be one of her favorite sayings and if I remember correctly I think she use to have a license frame with that saying on it.   So this card was made in honor of my sister-in-law.

• Witch is from from PPBN Deigns called Wicked Witch
• I wanted to incorporate flying monkeys but unfortunately I didn't have any cut files for a flying monkey and when I searched the Silhouette  I couldn't find one there so I went to Google and searched flying monkey pictures and found one that I liked.  Copied and pasted it in my Silhouette software and proceeded to make my own background paper.   I also cut one out to add to the front of my card.   I love how it turned out.

Scrappy Moms Stamps September 2015 Stamp Release - Homeland Heroes!

The September Stamps are here and I'm sharing my second project I made with these fun stamps.

I made a patriotic card using a couple sentiments from the Homeland Heroes.
