Happy Easter Crafters

Today I would like to share with you some Easter gifts I made for my great niece and niece and nephews.   

I purchased an adorable stripped box with a ribbon handle from the dollar section at Target knowing I wanted to decorate the front and fill it with goodies for my great niece.   When trying to decide what image to decorate it with I decided not to go with the standard easter bunny, chick or lamb when I saw the adorable PTC Easter Dragons file by KaDoodle Bug Designs.   

For the front of this box/basket I used the standing dragon from the KBD PTC Easter Dragon file.  

Here is a picture of the finished project.

You can't see it but I used Wink of Stella Brush pen on the bows to add some sparkle to it and my Gelly Roll pens for accents.  I also used some Copic markers to ink to cover up the white edges because they were printed on white paper.

For my older niece, nephews and cousin I used some purple boxes I purchased from the  Pick Your Plum website about a month ago and also decorated them with the adorable PTC Easter Dragon file from KBD.

For my niece I put the larger standing dragon on the front of hers, for my nephews I used the sitting dragon and for my cousin I used the smaller standing dragon.

Wish I would've taken a picture of the side view so you could see how cute they look with all the pieces popped up with dimensional squares or tape.  I have a couple more projects that I'll be posting later that I'll make sure to get the side view of them. :)

Scrappy Mom Stamps New Stamp Release Project 2

Happy April Fool's Day Crafters,

No April Fool joke here on how much I'm loving the newest Scrappy Moms Stamps stamps sets released on Friday, March 27th.  

Meant to share this project with ya'll yesterday but better late than never.

For my second project to help introduce these two new stamp sets I used a fun sentiment from the Sassy Pants! set and paired it with the KaDoodle Bug Designs Eggspolding Sweetness file.

KaDoodle Bug Designs & Little Scraps of Heaven Facebook Easter Co-Hop

Happy Saturday Crafters! 

     I'm happy to share with you a two page layout I made for the Facebook Easter Co-Hop featuring KaDoodle Bug Designs and Little Scraps Of Heaven Designs.  (see Facebook Hop Line-Up below)
     
For my layout I used the KaDoodle Bug Designs Easter Chihuahua* file and cut extra eggs for accents, Bunny Ears from the KaDoodle Bug Designs Eggsploding Sweetness file on the pink bear from the Little Scraps of Heaven Designs Think Spring file.    I'm giving this layout to my neighbor for her two little girls, whom I call Pixie Girl & Minnie Girl, so I made two bears on slightly larger than the other and had the bigger bear standing on the swing behind her baby sister bear. 

I shaded my cuts with my new eBrush and various Sharpie markers and also used it to add designs to my eggs.  The vines on the swing and around the sign were accented by ribbon from the Paper Source called Olive Leaves, and the words on the signs were created in my Silhouette Cameo software which I printed and and cut them out.   The grass mounds are the mound of grass that is with the sign svg from the Think Spring file and stretched to approximately 11.5 inches.  The spiky grass was cut using a Sizzix 12" thin die.
