Scrappy Moms Stamps Terrific Tuesday Challenge ~ Lucky You (Shamrock)

Happy Tuesday Crafters

Time for the next Scrappy Moms Stamps Terrific Tuesday Challenge
~Lucky You (Shamrock)~

To enter this challenge, for a chance to win a set of Scrappy Moms Stamps sentiments, all you need to do is make a project with a shamrock or shamrocks and link it up over on the Scrappy Moms Stamps Blog.

I chose to make a treat box for this challenge using the “Have a Lucky Day” sentiment from the Scrappy Moms Stamps CountlessOccasions stamp set.  I filled it with some golden delicious treats.

Card Recipe:
  • Sentiment from the Scrappy Moms Stamps Countless Occasionsstamp set.
    • I cut out leaves from the Little Scraps of Heaven Monkey with Clover SVG file at 1.208” W x 2.189” H and stamped my sentiment on one of them.
    • Shamrock between the big leaves is from the same Monkey with Clover file and it was cut at 1.607” W x 1.556” H
  • 3D Gift Box from the Silhouette Design Store – Design #64935
    • For the 3D Gift Box I used the Clover digi paper from Little Scraps of Heaven’s Frog with Clover Digi Kit.
    • For the mats on the 3D Gift Box I used the Green Leaves digi paper from the LSHD Monkey with Clover Digi Kit.
  • Monkey holding a shamrock from Little Scraps of Heaven (LSHD) Monkey with Clover Digi Kit

Scrappy Moms Stamps Terrific Tuesday Challenge - Cute as a Bug

Happy Tuesday Crafters

I'm pleased to announce the next
Scrappy Moms Stamps Terrific Tuesday Challenge.

Photobucket

This challenge is Cute as a Bug.

What is cuter than a bear dressed up like a bee?  Which is why I chose to use KaDoodle Bugs Designs Cutie KaToodles Bumble Bears to pair with a sentiment from Scrappy Moms Stamps "Little Critters" stamp set for this challenge.

I made two cards one has the paper at the bottom embossed and the other i have it debossed.

Here are they are:

Here's a close up of some of the detail.

Card Recipe:
  • Sentiment is from the  Scrappy Moms Stamps "Little Crittersstamp set
    • Sentiment stamped with Tim Holtz Wild Honey Distress Ink.
  • Bears dressed up as bees, bee hive, bees, and flowers with bees are from the KaDoodle Bug Designs Cutie KaToodles Bumble Bears set.
    • I used Zig Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush pen on the bee's wings.
    • I used Zig Wink of Stella Gold Glitter Brush pen on the honey around the bottom of the bee hive and the honey dripping from the honey stick.
    • I used Zig Wink of Stella Yellow glitter pen on the center of the flowers and Zig Wink of Stella pink glitter pen on the flower petals.
  • Blue background embossed with Darice Cloudy Sky embossing folder.
  • Bottom embossed with Darice Honeycomb embossing folder and inked with Tim Holtz Wild Honey Distress Ink.
    • Cut around the embossed portion to give it some character.
  • Ribbon is from 3GirlJam Caribbean Splash bundle.
    • Sad to say 3GirlJam is no longer in business.  I bought a bunch of their ribbon when I found out they were closing up shop.

Thanks for stopping by.

I hope you have some time go get some crafting in and  join us in this challenge.

Scrappy Moms Stamps Terrific Tuesday Challenge - Sparkle and Shine (use something sparkly)

Happy Tuesday Crafters

Hope everyone is ready for the new Scrappy Moms Stamps Terrific Tuesday Challenge.

Photobucket

Who doesn't love to add a little sparkle on your craft projects?
For this challenge all you need to do is add something sparkle or shiny to your project and share it over at the Scrappy Moms Stamps blog

For my sparkle I embossed a butterfly and dragonfly stamp with silver embossing powder and I embossed the sentiment with black embossing powder.
I also added some pearls to the dragonfly and black gemstones to my butterfly.
For my sentiment I chose the beautiful Happy Birthday from
the "From the Inside Out" stamp set.

Here are my cards...

This one is the dragonfly.
I love the how the silver embossing powder makes them all shiny and they just pop on the card.    Added a few silver pearls down their back to give them a little more dimension.  Also added dots using my silver gelly roll pen.

Here is a close up of the dragonfly

Now to show you the card with the butterfly.
Similar design just slightly different.

Close up of the beautiful shiny butterfly with it's black gemstones.

Card Recipe:
  • Dragonfly & Butterfly from Inkadinkado Gemstone Insects stamp set that I had in my stamp stash.
  • Silver embossing powder is Ranger Silver Super Fine Detail Embossing Powder
  • Black embossing powder from Sprinkle and Sparkle
  • Snowman face is from Peachy Keen Stamps PD-445 Happy Snow Couples Face Assortment.
  • Leaf vines are a sizzix die.
  • Pearls and black gem stones are from my stash
  • Standard A2 card base.
  • Card inspired by a Gina K on StampTV YouTube video.

I hope you have some time go get some crafting in and  join us in this challenge.

Scrappy Moms Stamps Terrific Tuesday Challenge ~New Year, New You and Die Cuttin' Diva's January Sketch Challenge.

Happy Tuesday Crafters

Welcome to the first 2016 Scrappy Moms Stamps Terrific Tuesday Challenge
~New Year, New You...Weight Loss, Resolution, etc~
and the
first 2016 Die Cuttin' Diva's January Sketch Challenge.

I'm so thrilled to be the Guest Designer for Die Cuttin' Diva's 1st challenge of the new year and that I was able to combine their challenge with the Scrappy Moms Stamps TTC to show that you can too.

Here is a picture of the Die Cuttin' Diva's January 2016 Sketch

Here is the card I made.
This could be given to encourage some one that is trying to loose weight, to exercise more or anything else that they're trying to accomplish.
The sentiment I used is from the Scrappy Moms Stamps Game Day stamp set.

Card Recipe:
  • "Hustle, Hit, NEVER quit!" sentiment from the Scrappy Moms Stamps "Game Day" stamp set..
  • Card base is 5 1/2" x 5 1/2"
  • I modified the kicking girl from Little Scraps of Heaven Fight of your Life file.   Since the girl from this file doesn't have hair I cut three pieces of hair from the Little Scraps of Heaven Sunny Days Gang file and made two of them into pony tails.
  • Face is from Peachy Keen Stamps PK-450 Wide Eyed Kids Face Assortment set
  • Used my metallic purple and white Gelly pen to accent the boxing gloves, top, socks, shoes and around the circle.
  • Three purple flower brads from my crafting stash.
  • Bows were made with Darice purple/white twine.

I had fun with both these challenges and I hope you participate in them as well.

If you can, please link up your project HERE  for a chance to win a set of Scrappy Mom's Stamps.

Scrappy Moms Stamps Terrific Tuesday Challenge - Dreaming of a White Christmas

Happy Tuesday Crafters

I'm sure everyone is busy with the holiday season preparations.  My living room looks like a whirlwind went through it. Piles of Christmas decorations cover almost every surface.   Need to get the bins put back in the rafters in the garage and I'll be able to breath a little more.   With all the decorating I do, I did manage to squeeze in a few moments to create a card for this challenge.

The new Scrappy Moms Stamps Terrific Tuesday Challenge (TTC) theme is to use snow, snowflake, snow angel, or anything white on your project.

Photobucket

I chose to use mostly white on my project which just happened to include snow, snowflakes and a snowman.
I purchased this card from the Silhouette store and I loved how easy it was to cut and put together.
I added the "There's SNOW one like you!" sentiment from the Scrappy Moms Stamps "Winter Wishes" stamp set.  Figured I would use it as a thank you card.

Here's a close up of the snowman.

This card had three layers, and two of the layers were popped up with dimensional tape. Heres a side view of the card so you can see how I added the dimensional tape.

Card Recipe:
  • Card from the Silhouette Store -- A2 Snowman Pop Dot Card ~Design #101040
  • Snowman face is from Peachy Keen Stamps PD-445 Happy Snow Couples Face Assortment.
  • Used my orange Gelly Souffle pen for his nose and my Metallic Green Gelly pen for his eyes.
  • For the top of the snow mounds I used glue and Recollections Glass Gilitter.
  • I put the snowflakes on my VersaMark stamp pad then I covered them Sparkle & Sprinkle Winter White Embossing Powder (EP409) and heat embossed them.
  • Buttons from my stash.
  • Sequins from my stash.

I hope you have some time go get some crafting in and  join us in this challenge.
