HAPPY 5th BIRTHDAY SCRAPPY MOM STAMPS!!!!


I'm so excited that today I'm one of the Design Team members that has one of the two secret words for the Scrappy Moms Stamps birthday giveaway. 

I will give the secret word after I share a card I made using a sentiment from the newly released Anchors Away stamp set.  :)

I'm not a sailor so I don't know how to tie any nautical type knots so I went on line and watched a YouTube video to figure out how to tie this knot.  Thought it added a different element to my card.  More details regarding this card are listed under the card recipe below. 



Card Recipe:
  • Sentiment from Scrappy Moms Stamps "Anchors Away" stamp set.
  • Card Base is 5-1/2" x 5-1/2"
  • Corners rounded with EX Success 1" corner rounder.
  • Pattern paper is from the Carta Bella - Ahoy There 6"x6"  paper pad that I bought at the Scrapbook Expo. 
  • Boat is from a company that is no longer in business. 

Ok... I think I've tortured you enough...Are you ready for my secret word??

The secret word is "STAMP"!

    The Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow Fan in me likes this card with the Boat. Too bad the company is not in business; I'd like to have the boat. Especially like the rope. Clever to watch youtube to tie the rope.
