Birthday Card~Girl with Cotton Candy

Happy Tuesday Crafters,

My crafty friend Janis Lewis from Pause, Dream, Enjoy made a card a few weeks ago using a color digi stamp from The Paper Shelter and I fell in love.   So since then I bought several of their digi stamp sets.

Today I'm sharing a birthday card I made with one of their digi stamp sets.

I'm not very good at coloring I love that they have a colored digi stamp that I can print and then cut out on my Silhouette.   With this image I wanted to give it some dimension so I took a cotton ball and pulled it apart.   Once I did that I used 3 different pink Sharpies in my eBrush to make the cotton ball look like cotton candy.  I then glued it onto the cotton candy portion of the card.
Love how it turned out.

Card Recipe:
  • Card base 5-1/2" x 5-1/2"
  • Background paper and girl is from The Paper Shelter "Fair Day-Digital Stamp" set.
  • "HB2U" sentiment from Scrappy Moms Stamps "More Mini Messages" stamp set.
  • Cotton candy - cotton ball pulled apart and sprayed with 3 different pink Sharpies with my eBrush.
Thanks for stopping by.
Have a blessed day.
TTFN,
Debby

Challenge(s) Entered:

This Terrific Tuesday Challenge is Out of this World.
I'm excited about this challenge because I got to use a sentiment from the newest Scrappy Moms Stamps "Out of This Worldstamp set that I've been wanting to pair with Marvin the Martian.

For the inside of my card I used some more sentiments from the Scrappy Moms Stamps "Out of This Worldstamp set.  I love how the Cosmic and Happy Birthday look like outer space.

Card Recipe:
  • Sentiments are from the new Scrappy Moms Stamps "Out of This Worldstamp set
  • Marvin the Martin and the rocket were purchased from the Silhouette store but when I tried to look it up to give you the design number it's no longer available.
  • Background paper is from the Silhouette Store ~ Design #21575

Valentine Cards

Happy Thursday Evening Crafters

I took today and tomorrow off work so I could sit in my craft room all day and create.

I see my crafty friends make projects for challenges but I typically don't get any projects created in time so it was so nice to spend all day crafting and creating cards that will meet some challenges.

I made these Valentine's cards I'm sharing with you today for these Challenges.

Here are the two cards I made.

Card Recipe:
  • Miss Kate Cuttables -- All the files I got for free but they are available for purchase.
  • On the Cute Valentine Kitty card I used the Scrappy Moms Stamps Designers Choice 2 stamp set.
  • On the Bird Love card I used a sentiment from the Srappy Moms Stamps For the Birds stamp set
  • Crystal hearts from my stash.
  • White Gelly Roll Pen for accents.

I had fun with making these cards.  Thanks for stopping by.
Have a blessed day.
