Scrappy Moms Stamps January 2016 Stamp Release - Out of this World Thank You Card

Happy Friday Crafters

Are you ready for some new Scrappy Moms Stamps?
Well the wait is well worth it because they have released two new spectacular sets that you're sure to fall in love with like I have.

I'm so happy to present to you

Aren't they fabulous?   I have so many ideas for cards/projects to make with the sentiments.  I wish I didn't have to work so I could craft all day to get all my ideas brought to life.

Here is one of my ideas that I was able to bring to life.   I'm pretty happy at how it turned out.

When I saw this sentiment I immediately thought of an astronaut and that it would make a great thank you card.

Card Recipe:
  • Sentiment from the new Scrappy Moms Stamps "Out of This Worldstamp set
    • Sentiment stamped with Versa Mark and Embossed with Ranger Silver embossing powder.
  • Space shuttle from the Silhouette Store ~ Design #8944

Shaker Birthday Card

Happy Thursday

We're almost to the weekend and I wanted to share a shaker birthday card I made.   This is the second shaker card I've made.
The first one turned out ok but I wasn't 100% happy with it so I searched YouTube to watch some videos to learn how to make them better.
I found a video by Lawn Fawn and while watching it I fell in love with the card they made in the video that I had to replicate it.
Since I don't have any Lawn Fawn stamps or other products they used I scoured my SVG files and stamp sets to find items that I could use to make my card.

In my SVG files I found a sweet Cupcake Tray from Miss Kate Cuttables and I found a similar sentiment from Jaded Blossom to the one used in the video.

Here is my shaker card.

Card Recipe:
  • Shaker card inspired by Lawn Fawn YouTube video and is a standard A2 card.
  • Cupcake Tray from Miss Kate Cuttables
  • Sentiment from Jaded Blossom Supersized Birthday Greetings
  • Ink used on sentiment was Versa Magic Dew Drop Gingerbread.
  • Music Note sequins from Craftin' Dessert Divas called Pitch Perfect.
  • Other sequins are from my craft stash.
  • Bakers twine from Darice BT106 Brown/White.
  • White Gelly Roll Pen for dot accents on cupcake tray.
Thanks for stopping by.
Have a blessed day.

Scrappy Moms Stamps Terrific Tuesday Challenge - Sparkle and Shine (use something sparkly)

Happy Tuesday Crafters

Hope everyone is ready for the new Scrappy Moms Stamps Terrific Tuesday Challenge.

Photobucket

Who doesn't love to add a little sparkle on your craft projects?
For this challenge all you need to do is add something sparkle or shiny to your project and share it over at the Scrappy Moms Stamps blog

For my sparkle I embossed a butterfly and dragonfly stamp with silver embossing powder and I embossed the sentiment with black embossing powder.
I also added some pearls to the dragonfly and black gemstones to my butterfly.
For my sentiment I chose the beautiful Happy Birthday from
the "From the Inside Out" stamp set.

Here are my cards...

This one is the dragonfly.
I love the how the silver embossing powder makes them all shiny and they just pop on the card.    Added a few silver pearls down their back to give them a little more dimension.  Also added dots using my silver gelly roll pen.

Here is a close up of the dragonfly

Now to show you the card with the butterfly.
Similar design just slightly different.

Close up of the beautiful shiny butterfly with it's black gemstones.

Card Recipe:
  • Dragonfly & Butterfly from Inkadinkado Gemstone Insects stamp set that I had in my stamp stash.
  • Silver embossing powder is Ranger Silver Super Fine Detail Embossing Powder
  • Black embossing powder from Sprinkle and Sparkle
  • Snowman face is from Peachy Keen Stamps PD-445 Happy Snow Couples Face Assortment.
  • Leaf vines are a sizzix die.
  • Pearls and black gem stones are from my stash
  • Standard A2 card base.
  • Card inspired by a Gina K on StampTV YouTube video.

I hope you have some time go get some crafting in and  join us in this challenge.

21st Birthday Card

Happy Monday Crafters

Today I'm sharing with you the birthday card I made for my son's 21st Birthday.

There are a couple of milestones that come with turning 21.
The two that I know about and chose to incorporate into my card are gambling and drinking.

I can't believe my son is old enough to gamble and drink alcohol.

I just love the way it turned out.

Card Recipe:
  • Card base is 5 7/8" x 5 7/8"
  • Gambling games from:
    • Casino Night from Scrapping Bug Designs
    • Casino Collection from Treasure Box Designs - Chips with numbers
  • Scrappy Moms Stamps Hooray for Birthdays stamp set
  • Used the chain of chips cut outs on plain white paper to put the sentiments on.
  • Playing cards that add up to 21 are from Google images.  Printed them then cut them out with my Silhouette.
  • Close to my Heart Liquid Glass on the glass of beer and on the 777.   Can't see it in the picture.
  • Used Gold Stickles for the lights on the slot machine and gold and clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush Pens for the coins.
Thanks for stopping by to look at my latest creation.
Happy crafting.

Scrappy Moms Stamps Terrific Tuesday Challenge ~New Year, New You and Die Cuttin' Diva's January Sketch Challenge.

Happy Tuesday Crafters

Welcome to the first 2016 Scrappy Moms Stamps Terrific Tuesday Challenge
~New Year, New You...Weight Loss, Resolution, etc~
and the
first 2016 Die Cuttin' Diva's January Sketch Challenge.

I'm so thrilled to be the Guest Designer for Die Cuttin' Diva's 1st challenge of the new year and that I was able to combine their challenge with the Scrappy Moms Stamps TTC to show that you can too.

Here is a picture of the Die Cuttin' Diva's January 2016 Sketch

Here is the card I made.
This could be given to encourage some one that is trying to loose weight, to exercise more or anything else that they're trying to accomplish.
The sentiment I used is from the Scrappy Moms Stamps Game Day stamp set.

Card Recipe:
  • "Hustle, Hit, NEVER quit!" sentiment from the Scrappy Moms Stamps "Game Day" stamp set..
  • Card base is 5 1/2" x 5 1/2"
  • I modified the kicking girl from Little Scraps of Heaven Fight of your Life file.   Since the girl from this file doesn't have hair I cut three pieces of hair from the Little Scraps of Heaven Sunny Days Gang file and made two of them into pony tails.
  • Face is from Peachy Keen Stamps PK-450 Wide Eyed Kids Face Assortment set
  • Used my metallic purple and white Gelly pen to accent the boxing gloves, top, socks, shoes and around the circle.
  • Three purple flower brads from my crafting stash.
  • Bows were made with Darice purple/white twine.

I had fun with both these challenges and I hope you participate in them as well.

If you can, please link up your project HERE  for a chance to win a set of Scrappy Mom's Stamps.
